Blake Lively is a whole fashion mood  

If there is a celebrity who knows a thing or two about high-fashion, it would be definitely Blake Lively. 

The American actress is a big lover of structured silhouettes, bold patterns, and statement jewellery. 

Through her ultra-glamorous red carpet looks, super trendy street-style, and enviable maternity ensembles, the American actress has managed to be the ultimate fashion connoisseur. 

After playing a starring role on the popular CW show, “Gossip Girl in 2008, Lively started making waves in the fashion world off-set. She loves wearing attention-catching dresses, head-turning ensembles, bags, shoes, and outfits that stand above the crowd. 

The actress befriended some of the biggest names in the fashion world, including Anna Wintour and late Karl Lagerfeld, who clearly adored her bold fashion choices.

Here is some of Lively’s fashionable outfits over the course of her career so far.

With a black Ralph Lauren gown, Lively posed on the red carpet at her first ever Met Gala appearance on May 5, 2008 for the “Superheroes: Fashion and Fantasy” theme. Her mermaid-style gown was the talk of the town. She paired the dress with silver bracelets and sleek black gloves.

In 2009, Lively wore a Versace as a presenter at the Emmy Awards in Los Angeles on September 20, 2009. She wore a red gown with floral details, while her hair was in a slick ponytail. She completed the look with one crystal bracelet.

When ELLE honoured Lively for her fashion sense at their 2011 Style Awards, the actress arrived on the red carpet in a blue Emilio Pucci fringed, high low gown. She finished the look with a pair of magenta peep-toe heels and delicate gold jewelry.

She went full mermaid in April of the same year with a Zuhair Murad multi-colored gown as TIME honoured her as one of the most influential people 2011, alongside Prince William and Michelle Obama.

In June 2011, Lively wore a floral Chanel gown for the premiere of Warner Bros. Pictures DC Comic’s movie “Green Lantern,”. The movie set was where she met her future husband, Ryan Reynolds. It was a semi-sheer white dress that had tulle tiers, paired with a stack of gold bracelets on one arm and several rings on the opposite hand.

Lively posed on the red carpet at the “Savages” premiere on June 25, 2012, with a semi-sheer mermaid-style gown by Zuhair Murad.

Later, Lively was spotted on May 6, 2013 wearing Gucci in New York City for the Met Gala’s celebration of “PUNK: Chaos to Couture.” The actress wore a strapless teal gown with a dramatic, feathery black train, and kept in the theme with dark eye makeup.

In March 2016, the actress wore a cold shoulder wrap dress to the State Dinner at the White House where she and her husband Ryan Reynolds honoured Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. Lively completed the look with a pair of neutral Louboutin sandals.

Later, she wore a pale pink Burberry cape at 2016 Met Gala event for “Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology” theme. She was praised by many fashion critics.

On the red carpet at the 69th Cannes Film Festival on May 13, 2016, Lively hid her baby bump under a voluminous, light blue Vivienne Westwood gown.

In October 2017, Lively did a ‘fashion marathon’ before tea time, by dressing in not one but seven different outfits while promoting her movie “All I See Is You” in New York. She wore a Ralph Lauren all-plaid-everything look, paired with oxblood boots and a brown crocodile Michael Kors bag. She also dressed in Brandon Maxwell bright yellow suit, teamed with her BFF Lorraine Schwartz’ jewellery and Charlotte Olympia shoes.

At the evening, she changed into a Chanel houndstooth jumpsuit with Christian Louboutin heels.

The press tour had not stopped Lively from carrying her favorite Bottega Veneta ‘Olympia Knot’ bag throughout the week.

In May 2018, Lively wore one of her most iconic looks to date, a custom Versace at the Met Gala in New York City. She wore a red-and-gold gown with a long train that cascaded down the Met Gala stairs. The actress told Vogue that it took designers 600 hours to create the dress.

At a Dior fashion show in September 2018, Lively dazzled in a floral dress with sparkly details. She paired the look with a Dior monogrammed bag.

At Dior 2019 Show, Lively wore a tulle Dior dress with a sequin lattice overlay layered onto a nude corset. She completed the look with a pair of perspex and diamanté heels by Christian Louboutin.
